Save the Date – WPC Fishing Derby

The WPC Fishing Derby for this year will be held on September 24th, 2016 at Camp Seton in Greenwich, CT.

The derby this year will be expanded to the largest event we have held in its 5 year history! Online registration will begin by September 1st, but put this event on your calendar now! There will be instructional stations, fun activities and competitions. Overnight camping will be available.

Awards and trophies will be given out for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, largest catch, most varieties caught and many more. All Scouts that catch their first fish ever will be given a special citation. Instructional stations include: Cooking, First Aid, Rules and Regulations, Knots, Spin Casting, Fly Casting, Tackles/Lures/Live Bait, Clothes/Equipment/Rods & Reels.
