Troop 173 Visit to Gettysburg
On October 14-16th, Troop 173’s Scouts took an educational trip to Gettysburg, camping on the outskirts of the site and touring the many battlegrounds and monuments on Saturday. Some photos are below.
On October 14-16th, Troop 173’s Scouts took an educational trip to Gettysburg, camping on the outskirts of the site and touring the many battlegrounds and monuments on Saturday. Some photos are below.
The scouting season’s first campout was held at Durland Scout Reservation. Scouts worked on a number of skills for advancement during the day, and also fished and took a 2.5 mile hike.
Below are a few of the images from our scout’s week at Camp Yawgoog. Considering how quickly plans had to change, the week went fairly smoothly. Life threw a fork at us, but we persevered. Right, Keith? ASM Tom Bodkin shows the Troop 173 Spirit:
