On Saturday, November 4th, Matthew Buck celebrated becoming our newest Eagle Scout. Troop 173 Leaders, Scouts, friends and family were there to honor Matt on this special day. Several local political dignitaries attended and praised Matt for his accomplishment as well. Congratulations Matt!
On Friday, October 27th, Troop 173 departed to battle the Zombie Apocalypse. The scouts participated in a series of activities that helped teach first aid, marksmanship, and other vital skills to help them defend themselves and others during a Zombie Apocalypse. The scouts all had fun and enjoyed themselves.
On Friday, September,15th, the troop had its first campout of the scouting year. The campout took place at Durland site 35.These photos depict the fun had at this event.

Troop 173 hosted our Annual Webelos Open House on January 9th. The event was a great success and we were so happy to see so many young boys excited by S couting.
This past weekend, Troop 173 attended the November District Camp-O-Ree, hosted by Troop 911 of Yorktown.
