Honor Flight

Troop 173 – Fall Court of Honor
On October 24th, Troop 173 held our Fall Court of Honor. 19 Scouts earned over 80 Merit badges plus additional awards, including two BSA Scuba Awards, a National Outdoor Achievement Award, a Paul Bunyan Woodsman Award, two Recruiter Awards, one Cyber Chip and a BSA World Conservation Award! Troop 173 at Fright Fest – Six Flags New England!
This past Saturday, 10 scouts and their families spent the day at Six Flags New England, including a behind the scenes tour of Superman – the acclaimed roller-coaster which includes a 213 foot drop and reaches speeds in excess of 77mph! Troop 173 scouts and families gathered on Monday, October 29th to celebrate our Fall Court of Honor. 5 of our scouts advanced to the Tenderfoot rank, having learned some basic first aid skills and how to tie knots and improving their physical fitness. 2 scouts earned the rank of Second Class.
