From August 6th to 12th, Troop 173 spent its annual week at Camp Buckskin. While at camp, our scouts took up to 6 merit badges each, and participated in various planned activities. On Friday, April 20th, the scouts and families of Troop 173 headed to Washington, D.C. for their long anticipated DC camping trip. We stayed at the William B. March Campout at Mountain Lakes!

On Saturday, March 17th, Troop 173 departed for our March campout at Mountain Lakes County Park. Despite bad weather which led to a few cancellations, the scouts had lots of fun at Durland Scout Reservation during our November campout. October Campout – Zombie Apocalypse District Event

On Friday, October 27th, Troop 173 departed to battle the Zombie Apocalypse. The scouts participated in a series of activities that helped teach first aid, marksmanship, and other vital skills to help them defend themselves and others during a Zombie Apocalypse. Manitoga-Muscoot Fall Camp-O-Ree Recap

This past weekend, Troop 173 attended the November District Camp-O-Ree, hosted by Troop 911 of Yorktown. Troop 173 hosted the previous district event, the Lash-O-Ree which was focused on knot tying and lashings. This camp-o-ree was focused mainly on First Aid skills.
