October Court of Honor
On October 28th, Troop 173 held our fall Court of Honor. In addition to awarding nearly 100 merit badges and 14 rank advancements, Troop m173 ASM Harry Zhou received his Wood Badge Beads as part of the ceremony.

For the first campout of the new scouting season, the Troop stayed for our first time at BSA Camp Bullowa in Rockland County. We stayed from Friday through Sunday and on Saturday we took a tour of nearby Stony Point Battlefield State Historic Site.
Every year, we enjoy a week up at the Curtis S. Read Scout Reservation. In addition to tons of merit badge courses, our Scouts take part in white water rafting, hiking up to the top of Mount Stevens, climbing, zip-lining and a variety of other fun activities! This past weekend, a handful of our scouts braved the weather to attend a campout at Durland and participate in the 2019 Klondike.
