Kick-off Campout at Durland!

On the weekend of September 17th, our scouts kicked off the new scouting year with the first campout of the season!

This was a great campout to start the new scouting year, with lots of cool activities. With the newly assigned patrol positions, many of our younger scouts were introduced to the patrol method for the first time. Kayaking and canoeing on the lake was followed by the younger scouts taking on the older scouts for a game of football. Many scouts were able to work on rank advancements, and it was all topped off with superior grilled cheese sandwiches made by James!
