Boston Trip Information

The registration deadline for this event has passed.

Last year, in Washington DC, the Troop had a great time and our Scouts and families learned a lot while having a ton of fun. This year we will be touring Boston as a Troop.

An itinerary and a draft expense sheet for the trip have been prepared.

Friday: We will meet at the campground in Braintree, MA to set up camp before heading to the JFK Presidential Library for a visit. Scouts must wear Class A for this. On Friday night, we will attend the Orioles-Red Sox game at Fenway Park!

Saturday: We will take the train into Boston to take a guided walking tour of the Freedom Trail, then back to our camp for dinner. For the tour, scouts should again be dressed in Class A uniform. Scouts will be able to earn a BSA medal if they can answer a questionnaire about the history they learned along the Freedom Trail!

Scouts will tent, families will be in cabins. Please note that these cabins are without running water or electricity – so dress warmly for the nights!
